Throughout our personal and professional lives, we have seen how overwhelming it can be to care for an aging loved one. Families are often asked to make difficult decisions, balance busy lives, and navigate healthcare systems while simply wanting the very best for someone they love.
We believed there had to be a better way.
That belief became Remnant Home Care.

Why Remnant was created
Remnant Home Care was founded by Kasey K. Swafford-Forrest and Dr. C.J. Forrest with a clear belief: aging should not mean surrendering your independence, your dignity, or the home you love.
After years of experience in clinical medicine and community development, our founders recognized a gap between what families genuinely needed and what traditional home care agencies offered. Families were navigating rigid scheduling requirements, limited service options, and agencies that could not adapt to real-life circumstances.
They built Remnant to be different—a company offering multiple levels of flexible care, treating every client as an individual, and functioning as a true partner to seniors and the families who love them. The result is a service that feels less like an agency and more like a trusted extension of family.

Kasey K. Swafford-Forrest is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Remnant Home Care. A nationally certified Physician Assistant with extensive experience in emergency medicine, she founded Remnant with a vision to redefine aging through exceptional home care, concierge-level service, and an unwavering commitment to dignity, independence, and peace of mind for every family.

A business development professional, educator, ordained minister, and biblical scholar, he leads strategic partnerships and community relationships that connect families with trusted resources while advancing Remnant's mission of delivering exceptional, relationship-centered care.
